This winding hallway of stone meanders deep into the earth, as a frigid air drifts through chilling the bone and lending a dark and surreal atmosphere to the place.
This system of slot canyons and washes in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park is one of my favorite places to visit. I’ve photographed here throughout my photographic journey on a variety of mediums. Recently, I’ve been started a new project re-visiting the canyons here with large format film, in an effort to create a new body of stronger, higher quality work that will hopefully become the contents of a future issue of my photographic journal.
